Dr. Blake Lucas
Veterinarian
Dr. Lucas received his Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts, where he also starred as the kicker on the football team for four years. He completed his doctorate at Ross University, on the island of St. Kitts, and his clinical year at the University of Florida. Dr. Lucas began practicing veterinary medicine in 2020 and has already been awarded Best Veterinarian of Albemarle by the surrounding community for the third year in a row!
When Dr. Lucas is not working with animals, he enjoys playing golf, wakeboarding, working out, boating, playing sports, and spending time with his two cats.

Dr. Faith VanLandingham
Veterinarian
Dr. Faith VanLandingham is from Chesapeake, VA, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Old Dominion University. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a veterinary assistant and pet sitter, gaining valuable hands-on experience before pursuing her veterinary degree.
She moved to eastern Tennessee to attend Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she served as president of the Shelter Medicine Club. Through this role, she fostered and transported countless dogs and cats in need. In her fourth year, Dr. VanLandingham completed an externship at Pasquotank Animal Hospital and knew it was the perfect fit for her.
Dr. VanLandingham is Fear Free Certified and has special interests in feline medicine, surgery, and internal medicine. She shares her home with two cats, Leo and Boston, and two dogs, Scout and Nola. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs, visiting antique and thrift stores, and playing video games.
